They were open to all our ideas and had a positive attitude throughout. They quickly understood our vision, and budget, and offered creative ways to execute the same. Their execution was near perfect, coordinating multiple events, themes and decorations and the logistics of hotel stay and transport without a hitch. For the wedding dinner, they arranged for Speciality Restaurant who laid out a delicious spread. Their accomodation facilitation and transport/logistics was on point. This helped to be entirely focussed on executing the wedding to perfection. Our families felt loved and supported through every phase and our guests felt welcomed through each ceremony. I rarely write reviews, but this experience deserves to be documented. For every girl, marriage is a well knit dream...its one of the most special days of her life and I am no exception. For me, it became even more special and grandeur because of the efforts and planning put in by Kolkata wedding. I had contacted Ms. Srabani Gupta, the proprietor of Kolkata Weddings at a critical juncture of my son’s wedding preparations this year. A Wedding Planner I had engaged a couple of months earlier turned out to be an inappropriate choice and a series of small mishaps finally forced me to look for another planner. The risk involved in engaging someone new with only a few weeks left for the event was high as I would have to start anew in familiarising the person with all the requirements we had in mind. I decided to take the risk and put my faith in Srabani and her team - I am happy to say that she vindicated that faith and not only lived up to my expectations but surpassed it!
In our first meeting, Srabani came across as someone with a professional approach to things, a quiet confidence in her abilities and a warm and pleasant demeanour. She listened carefully to our plans, our emphasis on aesthetic appeal and elegance of the decoration at the various venues, the quality of food and service to be provided on the different occasions and our anxieties about managing the complexities that could arise with a large number of outstation guests expected to be hosted over several days. She gently reassured us that the wedding was now her project and that we did not need to worry about any aspect related to it hereafter. Over the next few days and weeks leading up to the wedding I found Srabani an extremely easy and comfortable person to interact with. She was always accessible...there were several occasions when we called her on her mobile late at night to consult her about something that had suddenly occurred to us.
I said earlier that Srabani and her team surpassed my expectations. Her creative flair, attention to detail, uncompromising approach towards quality, ability to negotiate on our behalf with vendors and her composure during stressful times was a revelation. My son’s wedding was a wonderful success...I had wanted it to be memorable for the guests, not only for the elegance and grandeur of the decoration and quality of food but also for the various entertaining events that were included in the Reception. Thanks to Srabani’s creative ideas, it did turn out to be a memorable event and many guests have asked me who my Wedding Planner was. Let me finally also say a few words about her team. Srabani has a team of very committed, creative and hard-working young people. They are energetic, humble and attentive and flawlessly executed all activities related to the wedding - whether it was managing logistics or taking care of last-minute details at the event venues. I wish Srabani and her team all the best in their future endeavours and I am sure they will achieve great success in times to come. Given my experience, I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Kolkata Weddings for any event that someone may wish to host.

We had Kolkata Weddings help us throw our wedding reception at Tolly club in Kolkata.
Being a non resident, it was initially a big challenge for us to conceptualise and finalise the venue and other paraphernalia for the reception. Specially since we would be flying into the city just a day before the reception. Our single point of contact was Srabani. She took care of the entire process with utmost efficiency.
Beginning from short listing the venue to arranging the decorator, lighting contractor, flower supplier and catering services she handled it all. As some of the pictures would show, our family had a great time and so did we (usually a difficult feat to pull off during one's own party). All thanks to the tireless efforts of Srabani. A big thanks is due for making this memorable day even more so.
We were not aware of the concept of wedding planner in a Bengali wedding. We needed to co-ordinate outstation guests and manage different events in different cities. Luckily we found Kolkata Weddings through mutual contacts.

I was introduced to Arnab and Anindya by a friend. Out sourcing the arrangements for my brother's wedding to them was the best decision that I had taken. Being a nuclear family and living abroad, it is extremely difficult to manage an end to end Bengali wedding. These guys made our lives easy arranging everything from guest pick ups, yummy food, boron dalla, lajja bostro to Kolkata trip for our international guests.
